We three were planning about our trip. It's time to get rid off from workload, so we decided to visit some hill station. Nature, mud road, drizzle, fog, mist, the smell of trees, wow, what an aroma I can feel it. Hey idiot come back to schedule, said Raju. Okay, cool Raju, I just flowed into the feel, it was realistic.
Okay, just leave it. Here's the plan, we will start by tomorrow morning and reach the place by evening. And gonna stay in the room, which is in the mid of forest. Whole night we gonna hear animal sounds, birds humming and then fire camp, etc. Next day morning, we will go for trekking and safari ride. Then remaining will be in the flow, said and finished by Raju.
Abu: Okay, deal.
Vicky: Okay, deal.
Hey guys, list out the things to be taken, said Vicky.
Some water, snacks, two sets of dress, jerkins, shoe (as we were walking through the forest), small knife (multi purpose), and main thing purse without fail, said Abu. You're right here itself, we should take some cash in hand. Since we are going to the forest, there are no nearby ATM's, said Vicky.
Okay, let me go to the mechanic shop to check the car. Hope it's in good condition, but good sake once I check it, said Raju. After reaching car door, Raju thought "actually my car (Fiat Abarth Punto) is in damn good condition" LoL.
Tyres are in good condition, break perfect, wheel alignment okay, coolant oil okay.
Mechanic approved!
So as of now no issues in the plan.
We prepared everything and went to sleep. Actual start time we fixed was 5:00 AM, since the travel time is 10 hours. The world knew well, no bachelor would start at early morning (
😂😂😂). We are in deep sleep.
We are rushing up and started by 7:10 AM. Let’s pray for enjoyment. Yeah, it’s guaranteed, said Abu.
Engine start, Vroom... Vroom... Windows closed, AC turned ON, and finally music system screams. As per plan play list starts with Black Sabbath and followed by blah blah blah.
After few hours travel, we reached the hill road. As Vicky said, nature welcomes with a little drizzle. Sometimes clouds kicked on the cheeks to say Hi. Such a wet place, chillness and we started to enjoy each and every kilometer traveled. Abu was screamed for every hairpin bend we met. Finally, welcome board "Bandipur Tiger Reserve Welcomes You". We are not sure whether going to sight Tiger or not. If we spot the Tiger, that would be great.
Vanashree V - the room, going to stay, said Raju.
Even no building (here it's room) named with boy name.
The forest deportment person took us to room in the forest. Meanwhile, he explained about the forest and Do's and Don'ts. He strictly advised to not come out in the night. Tigers, leopards and some other wild animals may visit. It is not safe to step out from the room and make sure doors are closed. Please do not enter the No Entry areas, he said. He gave his number and said to call if anything. We gave look around the room. There were so many no entry warning boards around the room. After that board, very deep forest, even we couldn't see anything except trees. It's started raining too.
Abu was afraid, as we expected.
Smell of soil, rain is getting heavier. We refreshed and sat on the couch near the window. Shared our old memories as well as looking for wild animals. Two hours gone but not spotted anything. It was deep dark too, so we decided to sleep. Actually eyes closed automatically.
The thunder sound awakened us. No current, everywhere dark. Sometimes lighting shows us the situation around for few seconds. In the storm, the trees are fell down near the room and one of the tree fell on the roof of the room. It's really heavy shower, we never met before. We lost signal in mobiles. It was scary; we don't know what to do. Is it safe to go out or to stay here? It seems there is no evidence of people. There was debate between us whether to stay here or go out and look for help. Finally, we decided to go out and visit office for help. Opened the door and we came out, storm was heavy, it pushed us. We held our hands together and walked on the muddy path. We spotted something "tiger" "leopard" don't know, what the hell. We screamed and ran towards different directions. We got separated, darkness and fear kills us. Even we don't know, what's under our foot and where we are. Later I understand it was wild pig.
Abu ran as much as he can through the forest. Me and Vicky stopped and hided our-self under the tree. Abu fell down and got hurt on leg. Hided himself in the plant. While entering into the forest we wished to spot tiger, but now praying for we could not spot any wild animals. If it happens we are going to be breakfast, lunch, or dinner for that animal. Thousands of thoughts running through in mind. We saw so many Hollywood movies like this but now facing it. I clam down myself and thinking about them. No technology helps, everything is nothing in-front of nature.
The morning light came slowly. Actually darkness is scary, but in this situation light is even more scary. Now I can see everything, thank god I am still alive. Hope my friends too. I decided to move on to the room again, since the rescue team surely search us near room. Vicky also thought the same and came back to room. We hugged and breath out. Now looking for Abu. We both worried about him. What happen to him?
Abu sat behind the dead tree. He thinks there is no other way except to walk and go back to room. He started to walk. Such a thrill experience walking in the forest with an empty hand.
Grrr, raaa, growl, roar... Grrr, raaa, growl, roar... he heard. No doubt it's tiger. Abu’s legs trembled, looked everywhere but not spotted yet. Finally, it came in front of Abu, without any delay he started ran. Tiger too. In that heavy running, Abu trapped into landslide. Due to wet, both Abu and Tiger trapped into the landslide. Both are chasing each other in that slope side by side.Only one think is running through in Abu’s mind, whether I am going to die in landslide or in Tiger’s bite. He was shouting like anything. Oh god he is Hearing Vicky’s voice. How??? Thank god! He is near to me! Hey idiot wake up, it’s time to Safari ride. Vickyyy still I’m alive right. What the hell you are asking, said Vicky.
It’s a dream! Oh Shit what the Hell.
